Better data. Better decisions. Better health.

Building a stronger all-island public health evidence base

The All-Island Public Health Knowledge Hub Project is a cross-border initiative led by the All Island Institute of Public Health in partnership with Ulster University and Trinity College Dublin.

A shared resource for public health evidence

The PEACEPLUS-funded project represents a €2.4 million investment in strengthening the public health evidence base across Ireland and Northern Ireland. By collating better public health data, the Knowledge Hub will support better policymaking and, in turn, improve health outcomes across the island.

The project will create a more accessible and connected source of evidence for policymakers, researchers, public health professionals and communities, helping partners respond more effectively to shared public health priorities.

The project will be officially launched by Northern Ireland Minister for Finance John O’Dowd MLA and Ireland’s Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Services, Reform and Digitalisation Jack Chambers TD on 24 June 2026.
